Chairman, Imota LCDA welcomes students and staff back to school

‎The Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon.  Benson Sunday Ayodele, has welcomed pupils, students and staff back into their various schools after a long Christmas and New Year holidays.


Hon.  Benson, in a statement today, charged the school administrators, and teaching and non- teaching staff on the need to return to their various duty posts with renewed commitment towards moulding pupils and students into leaders of tomorrow and responsible characters.


‎”It is with great joy and optimism that I warmly welcome our esteemed school administrators, teachers, pupils, and students back to school as we commence the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session across all nursery, primary, and secondary schools in Imota Local Council Development Area.


‎”The beginning of this new term brings renewed energy, fresh opportunities, and greater enthusiasm for teaching and learning. I am confident that this term will be both vibrant and rewarding, offering our learners and educators meaningful experiences that will further enhance academic excellence and personal development.


‎”I encourage all school heads, teaching, and non-teaching staff to resume duties with dedication, passion, and a renewed sense of responsibility toward nurturing the full potential of every child.


‎”Your continued commitment remains vital towards achieving quality education in our schools. I sincerely appreciate your cooperation, loyalty, and trust in our administration, and I look forward to a productive and successful term”.


‎He also urged pupils and students on the need to be disciplined in their putsuit of their academic excellence, and assured them of his administration’s commitment to give them necessary support in making their dreams achievable.


‎”To our dear pupils and students across Imota LCDA, I urge you to strive for excellence in your academic pursuits. Be attentive to your teachers, remain disciplined, and be intentional in your actions.

‎”The BSA and BOJ administration remains resolute in providing a conducive learning environment, and promoting quality, inclusive, and sustainable education across Imota LCDA”, he assured them.
